.NET /ASP developer
The core applications supported are mainly: Net web applications, .Net interfaces between core banking and treasury applications.
The Applicant will be Responsible for development of new and enhancements of existing requirements, of various levels of complexity and will provide day-to-day support, administration and problem resolution for enterprise software.
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Minimum 2 years of .NET/ASP Development.
- Minimum 2+ years post qualification experience in a software development role with experience of all aspects of the development life cycle, preferably on enterprise scale systems.
- Development experience with .NET, ASP.NET/Web Development, Web Services Development, Windows Services, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and XHTML.
- Knowledge of Web Standards and Technologies (AJAX, CSS, WS-Security etc).
- Strong object-oriented design skills and coding experience in VB.NET
- Experience with Oracle (10/11g) & MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 and knowledge of database design and performance.
- Third level Degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition Environment.
- Experience in using source code control management systems.
- Ability to work on own initiative, in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to understand complex problems.
